Zac Efron Heads Off to Toronto

Heading off to the Toronto Film Festival, Zac Efron was spotted at LAX taking a flight to Canada from Los Angeles on Thursday (September 4).

The Disney hunk sported a striped v-neck t-shirt with jeans, sneakers and a beanie as he smilingly entered the airport and made his way past security.
In related news, Efron recently spoke out about growing famous through his role in the three movie series “High School Musical”.

The 20-year-old actor calls the experience bittersweet, saying: “You don’t realize until it’s gone, but it is so important to feel normal. I’m growing up under a magnifying glass, and I just try to rise above it and live my life. I’m not going to complain. But it’s something I’m learning to cope with.”

Efron will star in the third and final part of the “High School Musical” series later this year. He plays a high school senior named Troy in the movie, alongside his co star and real life girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens.

Of his character, Efron says: “The stakes are higher because there are real decisions to be made. What college are you going to? What happens to the girl? It’s fun watching Troy grow into a man!”

Along with HSM, Zac is also set to appear in two other box office releases, 17 Again, with Matthew Perry, and Me and Orson Welles, which is described as a period film.

Rihanna Preps for Fashion Rocks

She’s one of the most in-demand female singers in pop music, and earlier today Rihanna was spotted on her way to a rehearsal at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

The “Take A Bow” babe looked sassy in a white cleavage-baring top underneath a grey jacket teamed with a navy skirt and matching heels as she made her way inside the Midtown Manhattan venue.



And it’s been a busy week for Rihanna in the Big Apple, as she was spotted waving to fans as she left her hotel, en route to RCMH for another rehearsal for her upcoming performance at the 5th Anniversary of Fashion Rocks (airing next Tuesday, September 9th on all three major networks).

We’ve also learned that the “Umbrella” hitmaker will be joining everyone from Mariah Carey to Mary J. Blige, Miley Cyrus, and Leona Lewis for a live performance of “Just Stand Up” at the “Stand Up to Cancer” benefit this Friday, September 5th.

Beyonce Talks Weight Gain

Beyonce Knowles is well known for her smoking hot body and her “bootylicious” behind. But Miss Knowles recently got a break from the gym, as she had to pack on the pounds for her role in the upcoming movie “Cadillac Records”.

Interestingly enough, the “Irreplaceable” singer told press that she had to gain twenty pounds to play the role of Etta James in her new flick.

Beyonce spoke of the weight gaining process saying it “was so much fun” but adds that she had difficulty losing the weight for her next role in the psychological thriller Obsessed, saying: “I was so angry with myself. I was like, ‘D’oh! Why do you have to go through this?’”The diva says that she limits her diet “No chips, no candy, no desserts, no junk food, no fried food.”

Knowles, whose 27th birthday is today (September 4), also mentioned her onstage alter ego, Sasha, adding that when she’s onstage she does things she doesn’t normally do. “I have out-of-body experiences. If I cut my leg, if I fall, I don’t even feel it. I’m so fearless, I’m not aware of my face or my body.”

As for the rest of her music career, “I’m over being a pop star,” she says. “I don’t wanna be a hot girl. I wanna be iconic. And I feel like I’ve accomplished a lot. I feel like I’m highly respected, which is more important than any award or any amount of records. I feel like there comes a point when being a pop star is not enough. I am really proud that I am one of the artists that has the opportunity to be on magazine covers and to be in the movies. And I do think that I’m opening doors for more black women, just like Halle Berry and Diana Ross opened doors for me.”

Gwen Stefani Debuts Post-Baby Body

Just two short weeks after giving birth to her second child, Zuma Nesta, Gwen Stefani showed off her post-pregnancy curves while making a routine doctor’s appointment visit with husband Gavin Rossdale at LA’s Cedars-Sinai Hospital on Thursday (September 4).

According to a source on the scene, the always-stunning pop performer “looked fit and beautiful, flashing a much smaller belly and a sly grin. She looked healthy, happy and radiant - with that new mommy glow.”

Following her medical check-up, the “Hollaback Girl” singer headed to the pharmacy before returning back home to her new bundle of joy.

Of her experience as a mother, Stefani recently told press: “I feel happier now, I know every mother must feel this way, but watching your child grow up and learn new things every day is one of the greatest and purest pleasures you can have.”

Ooo No Jail Time For Million Dollar Listing's Josh Flagg

The Million Dollar Listing second-season realtor and estate broker was arrested for allegedly stealing expensive pieces of art that were part of the estates he was handling, TMZ.com reported Friday.

He was subsequently released on $100,000 bail, according to TMZ.com, which added Bravo had no comment.

A 2004 Beverly Hills High School graduate, Flagg began working in "high-end residential real estate immediately," according to his Bravo-supplied bio.

In addition, Flagg is also billed as being known for "pampering his clientele" by sending chauffeured cars to his clients' homes and sending them up in helicopters to view properties.

Million Dollar Listing's second season will premiere tomorrow night at 11PM ET/PT on Bravo before moving to its regular Tuesdays at 10PM ET/PT time slot beginning August 12.

For those The Amazing Race Asia fans out there, don't forget to watch TARA Season 3 Racers Revealed tonight on AXN (Channel 701 Astro Malaysia). You will get to know the contestants for this season and their relationships.

I didn't realize Bernie Chan was also in the contestants list for Malaysia's teams. I only mention Ida Nerina, Malaysian actress, in my previous post on TARA before. For Malaysians, Bernie Chan is also a regular face in the entertainment industry. She starred in a lot of sitcoms and hosted several shows, one of them was Project Runway Malaysia. Sorry Bernie, I didn't notice you were participating in TARA Season 3 too.

The Amazing Race Asia Season 3 will premiere with its 1st episode next Thursday. Gear up guys for another amazing adventures.
