Unleash your fantasy

If you read my profile, you should know that I don't have Playstation 2. But that doesn't stop me from updating myself with the game news...well, sort of.

I really love Final Fantasy games. I'm not a fan from the beginning though. I was in secondary school when my friend introduced me Final Fantasy VIII, and I fall in love with the game ever since. The FMV was nice, the gameplay was good (although I was quite confused with the junction system), overall, it was addictive.

As you may know, the latest series in the franchise is Final Fantasy XIII. The game is developed under the Fabula Nova Crystallis project and is a part of a trilogy. The other two games are Final Fantasy Agito XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII. BTW, Fabula Nova Crystallis means 'the New Tale of the Crystal' in Latin.

I found this trailer quite some time ago at Veoh. The trailer looks good, but the gameplay is a little bit different from the previous games. I hope it's not complicated.

I will post another trailer sometime later. But for now, enjoy this clip.

Detective of the Underworld

I've finished reading the first two volumes of the manga and now moving on to the 3rd volume. In this volume, Urameshi Yuusuke starts his new job as a detective. Not the usual detective of course, he is the detective of the Underworld, so to speak. His job is to deal with any troubles that cause by demons in the human world. I'm telling you, it's a tough job. He also used his first 'holy energy shots' in this volume. Nice! Oh, almost forgot. Hiei and Kurama also made their first appearence in this volume.

The image of the cover above is from the English version, mine is the Malay version of course (published by Comics House). I had mentioned this before in the previous post on YuYu Hakusho. Anyway, the pic is still the same, just the background color and the writing are a little bit different. I had to used this one because I don't have any scanner to scan the cover image of the Malay version.

I got this cover from the website below. The cover of Vol. 1 and 2 from the previous post were also taken from this website. Forgot to mention that before, sorry....

'I love my Frosti!'

Frosti is one of my favourite contestant in Survivor: China. I really hope he would win or at least go as far as top 3 but he already been voted off in the last episode. I'm so sad...

I actually already knew that he would be voted off soon. Malaysia is already one season behind so of course I know he didn't win. But I keep on rooting for him...crazy me. Anyway, we can still see him as one of the jury. Yay!

I wouldn't reveal who win this season of Survivor for the sake of those who like surprises. But I really hope that Malaysia TV will eventually air the current season of Survivor: Micronesia Fans vs Favourites. I don't want to miss another season of the show. We skipped several already like Palau and Cook Islands!!!

For those who can't wait to see who won Survivor: China, you can click the link below. It's one of my fave website that features a lot of American TV shows...especially American Idol. I got Frosti pics from that site too. Enjoy!

Go Hikki!

I'm a J-pop fan. I don't know why. The songs just 'click' with me. One of my fave J-pop star is Utada Hikaru, or better known as Hikki to her fans.

Utada Hikaru certainly got talent. She sings well and she writes her own songs. For me, her song are quite different from the other J-pop artiste...not too much influence of the modern pop music but more traditional sound. One of my fave album from her is Deep River.

She's recently released her fifth Japanese album titled Heart Station. But the video I uploaded is from her old albums. It's called Colors and I'm sure you've heard of it somewhere. Utada Hikaru was big here in Malaysia when she released her album First Love but somehow after that she just slipped under the radar. But she's still great!

Enjoy the PV. The track can be found in her Single Collection Vol. 1 album and Ultra Blue album.

Music + Education

I'm really not into rock music. But I do listen to them sometimes, especially those from mainstream bands, and 30 Seconds To Mars is one of them.

I really like their new song, A Beautiful Lie. And they not only play good music, but they also educate people on global warming. I'm really impress. They are an amazing rock band.

They also have a site that feature not only their photos and MV, but also news, tips and links that related to global warming and how to save earth. Really cool. Do check it out.

Also check these sites, the 30 Seconds To Mars official website and the cool site where I got the pics from. (Thanks!)

Wonderful reunion

Oh my god! I love YuYu Hakusho!!! I started reading the manga since I was in school. I didn't bought them, just borrowed from my friends. That is why I was so excited to see these books at one of the bookstore while I was window-shopping at a mall near my house. I bought volume 1 and 2 for RM4.80 each. Of course the one that I bought is in Malay language (published by Comics House). It's a lot cheaper compare to the English version. But the cover is quite the same with the English version. Only the background colour and writing is different.

The drawings are just average, but the story is so good. Yoshihiro Togashi-sensei really knows how to make a good manga. The same goes for his latest work, Hunter X Hunter. It's sad the story is moving really slow because of hiatus.

Back to YuYu Hakusho. I plan to collect all the volumes into one complete set but since I'm saving my money for something else, I have to buy them one at a time. So it may take some time for me to reach the final volume. I just hope the bookstore won't run out of stock. Old books are so hard to find these days.
