Justin Bieber was involved in a minor car accident earlier today in Los Angeles.
He is uninjured, and the other driver is also OK.
A Honda Civic collided with black Bieber’s Ferrari on Bluffside Drive in Studio City at approximately noon, according to the LAPD.
Although one of the singer’s friends recommended that they call the police, who responded to the scene, there was reportedly not enough damage to require paperwork.

Are Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez breaking up?
The accusations were flying mostly in Justin Bieber’s direction, with people saying that Selena caught Justin sending text messages to an ex-girlfriend, Jasmine Villegas. Thanks to social media like Twitter and Facebook, celebrity gossip blogs, new from the rumor mill spreads rather quickly. Another factor is that a lot of Justin Bieber’s teen female fans want Selena out of the picture, believing that they are the dream girl for Justin, and if they had the chance to meet, they would be the best girl for Justin. YouTube videos fueled (or maybe started) the fire. Others say the “fight” that lead to the alleged breakup had to do with Selena forbidding Justin from hanging out with a “Bad (Hollywood) Crowd”, including Lil Wayne, Sean Kingston and Chris Brown because they all have troubled pasts, or at least accusations of bad behavior in the past. But, come on… can you imagine Justin Bieber rolling down the street with the aforementioned three stars on their way to do something unspeakable like rob a bank, or store? Come on. None of they guys even need the money, and I doubt that today any of them would commit a major crime even if they didn’t have bulging bank accounts.
Where did these rumors start?
While its impossible to pinpoint exactly who and where the rumors stemmed from, and go into detail with it, it was most likley one of two sources.
1.)All the way from England, the gossip tabloid The Sun-
The infamous celebrity tabloid magazine all the way from England, The Sun is well-known for exaggerating stories and stretching them way beyond any point of truth. Making mountains of out moleholes if you will. The Sun is kind of like the American magazine, The National Inquirer which had cover stories featuring 26 pound newborns, and half monkey-half human people (Hello Photoshop!), although The Sun focuses on celebrities while The National Inquirerreminds me more of Ripley’s Believe it or Not museums. The Sun is the glossy gossip magazine that started the rumor that Selena was being controlling and asking, if not forbidding Justin from hanging out with his aforementioned group of buddies that are hip-hop moguls (Lil’ Wayne, Sean Kingston, and Chris Brown). Even if that was an issue at any point, it’s very unlikely the two would split over that small of a disagreement.
2.) You Tube videos
A little ironic, because as the story goes Justin Timberlake discovered Justin Bieber on YouTube, and after seeing a few of his videos knew the kid was destined to be a star and took him under his wing. The people who posted the videos have been dubbed “Self Promoters”, in hopes of being remembered for possibly have planted the seed to this rumor, and their breakup. These “Self Promoters” are responsible for starting the other rumor that Selena caught Justin texting old girlfriends, and that caused them to split.
We need to keep in mind that although celebrities may live luxuriously or lead “dream” lives, and so goes the saying “Every rose has it’s thorn”. We need to remember that celebrities are people with needs too, and crave privacy sometimes.At some point, every single one of us has been in “trouble”. We used bad judgement, made a selfish decision, acted out of anger, or were in the wrong place at the wrong time.Keep in mind, when you’re a celebrity, your business is manufactured as Hollywood entertainment. (Think tabloid magazines, and celebrity gossip blogs.)In every Jr. high school and high school, just about anywhere, they have their own “celebrity” students. Okay, so they are not paid, but everybody is hanging onto to every last piece of gossip about a certain crowd. And if you happen to fall into a category that gets picked on, your even worse off. In a way, Hollywood combined with all the glossy gossip magazines, blogs, social networking websites…(especially Twitter,where many celebrities have their own accounts and share several “tweets” weekly, if not daily) videos and interviews that were edited and taken out of context, unflattering photos, reality television and how easy it is to get internet access these days ALL play into a culture that is similar to that of the gossipy girls at just about any high school you can find. Psychologists, Doctors and Scientests have proven that humans release certain hormones that make you feel happy when you gossip alone, and a “love hormone” is released when you gossip with somebody else, especially one on one. It creates a sense of closeness and a tight friendship. Considering all that, how would you feel if it was your business being mentioned in this or that gossip magazine, and almost always exaggerated, if not taken out of context altogether. After all, the tabloids and paparazzi are an industry as well, and need to make money just as much as the rest of the working world.All that said, the million dollar question…

Are Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez breaking up?
FALSE.
Both Justin and Selena are very mature for their age, and they squashed the rumors with more public kisses, and looking at recent photos of the two, you can tell by the smiles on the their faces and body language that there is definitely a big romance between the two.
Selena can stand proudly on her own two feet, has a career, and is not famous…for being famousPersonally, I am a BIG fan of the power duo. I think they make the perfect couple, with them both being so young, yet both working so hard. Superstar Rhianna said that Justin “looks like a kid, but works like an adult”. With such similar work ethics, and their “Never give up, anything is possible” optimistic attitudes are just two more things that make the pair so incredible compatible. As a female, I love the fact that Selena is talented and has her own fan base, and does not rely on Justin’s star power because this girl has plenty of her own. Selena is both a successful, emmy-winning actress and musician. She got her start in acting, and is best known for playing the character Alex Russo in the (EMMY WINNING!) television series on the Disney Channel, “Wizards of Waverly Place”. Following up with roles in both feature films and television movies, including: Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie, Princess Protection Program and Another Cinderella Movie, not to mention getting her start in theatrical films, with her debut in Ramona and Beezus.
Selena Gomez also has a career in the music industry. She founded, and does lead vocals in her pop band “Selena Gomez and the Scene“, who has released two albums “Kiss & Tell” and “A Year Without Rain, both RIAA Gold certified studio albums, along with two RIAA certified singles, “Naturally” and “Who Says” As of April 2011, her band has sold 1,354,000 albums in the US alone, with more worldwide. In addition to her work with her band, she has used her voice to contribute to the soundtracks of several movies, some of which she has a role in, including “Wizards of Waverly Place”, “Tinker Bell” and “Another Cinderella Story”. She currently had a record deal with the company Hollywood Records.
She is also quite humbled as well, she thanks her fans and acknowledges that without their support, her band and her acting career wouldn’t go too far. Her friends have described her as “down to earth” and ”easy to talk to”, as well as the first person they go to for advice on anything from love to work and school. She has been involved is several charitable events, and the young starlet was designated a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador in 2008, when she was even younger. Point being, this girl can stand on her own two feet, and has worked hard at a young age to achieve more than most will in a lifetime. For all this, I have respect for Gomez, and definitely would not consider her another Hollywood bimbo, or somebody who is famous…for being famous, but a hard-working female that has shown that females can succeed in the acting and music industry with hard work, and of course talent.
That is what makes the pair such a powerful duo together. Although both of them are young, their work ethic is outstanding, and they are very,very mature for their age. They both put business first, and fun second. That allows them to avoid conflict, because they are always on the same page
The young couple announced their love to their world quite publically, (and with a quite public kiss) although they have been together for over a year, prior to this one extreme of announcing their love to the world, they were the opposite for quite some time both denying their secret romance.
Just days ago, Sunday, August the 7th to be exact, Both Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were invited to the 13th annual Teen Choice Awards, both nominated to win in several categories. The winner of each award did were not handed a small trophy they could put on their lap or under their seats for the remainder of the ceremony. Instead, each winner received a quite off-beat, and life-size surfboard trophy.
The pair took full advantage of the ceremony to squash the false rumors of the couple of breaking up with an Award Ceremony worthy kiss meant for the world to see. The public kiss was very similar to the smooch they shared to announce their relationship and devotion to one another, despite however many miles may keep them apart. Their very first public kiss happened right after Justin’s arrival back from his lengthy “My World, 2.0” Tour at the Vegas Billboard Music Awards.(Catch up and read about this Award Ceremony, if you haven’t already and check out my article “Justin wins big at the Vegas Billboard Music Awards”) After the ceremony was over, but guests were still mingling around, Justin embraced Selena and said “I want to thank anybody who helped me get out of my hometown and live out my dream!”. In addition to them publicizing their romance upon Justin Bieber’s return, they went on a romantic tropical getaway to Hawaii. Last Sunday,Selena Gomez took home 5 awards at the Teen Choice Awards show, i including .”Choice Music Love Song” for her band’s love song hit “Love You Like a Love Song”, and “Choice Female Hottie”. She also performed live with her band, Selena Gomez and the Scene during the Awards Ceremony Event. Selena Gomez has her own career going, she is a popular teenage musical artist and actress. She can definitely stand on her own two feet., which is what makes her a good match for Justin Bieber in the first place. Although she is two years older than him, their maturity levels match and they both work very hard. Both stars are pretty humbled as well, always thanking their fans for their support, and sticking to their roots and spending time with their families. Point being, Selena is a successful young woman all on her own.
